Can language be the new oil?

In a world driven by language models, precise and concise articulation CAN be the new oil.

Now more than ever, those who can express intent with clarity and precision can unlock disproportionate value.

I’m saying “can”—not “will”—because models might end up making sense of nonsense, thanks to the context and history they retain. Like that one close friend who just gets you, regardless of what you speak. And once that happens, even language might lose its leverage.
